Very Berry Iced Tea

Another caffeine-free alternative for those long summer days, find solace from the swelter with this very berry iced tea. Antioxidant and vitamin rich berries, with mild apple and blackberry leaves; capture those summertime moments while enjoying this tangy and lush red cup.

Follow the recipe to make enough for one (250ml):

  • 4g P & T Berry Pomp herbal tea
  • P & T small cylinder pot
  • 250g filtered water
  • ice cubes
  • mint sprigs or orange slices to garnish
  • honey as sweetener (optional)

Measure 4g of P & T Berry Pomp herbal blend and drop into P & T’s small cylinder pot and add 250mls boiling water. Infuse for 5 minutes then decant into a pitcher, add 1 teaspoon of honey (optional) to the cooling tea. Pour directly over a large glass filled to the brim with ice cubes or refrigerate for later use. Garnish with slices of orange or a mint sprig when serving.

Asana Lemonade

A non-caffeinated cooler, this drink combines two of our favorite summer drinks: lemonade and iced tea. Our spicy herbal tea Deep Asana adds a depth in flavor to the zesty lemonade with its Ayurvedic blend of whole spices, and is a favorite that can be adapted into beverages to suit all seasons.

Follow the recipe to make enough for three (850ml):

  • 20g P & T Deep Asana herbal tea
  • P & T large cylinder pot
  • 850ml filtered water
  • 150ml lemon juice
  • ice cubes
  • lemon slices for garnish
  • honey as sweetener (optional)

Measure 20g of P & T Deep Asana herbal blend into P & T cylinder pot and add 850ml of boiling water. Once the tea has steeped for 20min, decant into a large pitcher and mix in 150ml lemon juice (honey can be added here as a sweetener). Pour over glasses filled to the brim with ice cubes or refrigerate for later use. Garnish with lemon slices when serving.

Kipling’s Classic Iced Tea

A do-it-yourself take on the traditional iced tea, is a blend of our citrusy Ceylon black tea, and homemade peach syrup for a mouth-watering refresher.

 

Follow the recipe to make enough for one (250ml):

  • 5g P & T Kipling’s cup ceylon tea
  • P & T small cylinder pot
  • 250ml filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon Peach Simple Syrup*
  • ice cubes
  • peach or oranage slices to garnish

 

Measure 5g of P & T Kipling’s Cup tea and drop into P & T’s small cylinder pot and add 250mls of water (90 °C). Infuse for 3 minutes then decant into a pitcher, add 1 teaspoon of Peach Simple Syrup* to the cooling tea. Pour directly over a large glass filled to the brim with ice, or refrigerate for later use. Garnish with a slice of peach when serving.

*Peach simple syrup recipe

  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 2 peaches thinly sliced

In a medium saucepan, stir together water, sugar, and peaches. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let mixture simmer until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 20- 25 minutes. Strain peaches from syrup mixture and let cool completely before use. Store in the refrigerator and mix into iced tea or cocktails for a sweet peach flavor.
