We are bringing the beloved summer beverage back and better than ever. Here are P & T’s iced tea recipes, ready before a shift on the sundial!

Berry Pomp Iced Tea

A caffeine-free alternative for those long summer days, find solace from the swelter with this juicy and tangy iced tea. Capture those vibrant summertime moments while enjoying this lush red cup.

Follow the recipe to make 1L of iced tea:

  • 10g P & T Berry Pomp Master Blend
  • P & T large cylinder pot
  • 1L filtered water
  • ice cubes
  • mint sprigs or orange slices to garnish
  • honey as sweetener (optional)

Measure 10g of P & T Berry Pomp Master Blend into large cylinder pot and add 1L boiling water. Infuse for 4 minutes then decant into a pitcher, add 1 teaspoon of honey (optional) to the cooling tea. Pour directly over a large glass filled to the brim with ice cubes or refrigerate for later use. Garnish with slices of orange or a mint sprig when serving.

Mint Julep Iced Tea

This refresher pairs a smoky green tea with zesty lemon and cooling peppermint, conjuring up summery afternoons of chillin’ leisure.

Follow the recipe to make 1L of iced tea:

  • 10g P & T Mint Julep Master Blend
  • P & T large cylinder pot
  • 1L filtered water
  • ice cubes
  • lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish
  • honey as sweetener (optional)

Measure 10g of P & T Mint Julep Master Blend into large cylinder pot and add 1L of water at 80°C. Infuse for 3min and decant into a large pitcher. Pour over glasses filled to the brim with ice cubes or refrigerate for later use. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves when serving.

Kipling’s Classic Iced Tea

A do-it-yourself take on the traditional iced tea, is a blend of our citrusy Ceylon black tea, and homemade peach syrup for a mouth-watering refresher.

 

Follow the recipe to make enough for one (250ml):

  • 5g P & T Kipling’s cup ceylon tea
  • P & T small cylinder pot
  • 250ml filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon Peach Simple Syrup*
  • ice cubes
  • peach or oranage slices to garnish

 

Measure 5g of P & T Kipling’s Cup tea and drop into P & T’s small cylinder pot and add 250mls of water (90 °C). Infuse for 3 minutes then decant into a pitcher, add 1 teaspoon of Peach Simple Syrup* to the cooling tea. Pour directly over a large glass filled to the brim with ice, or refrigerate for later use. Garnish with a slice of peach when serving.

*Peach simple syrup recipe

  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 2 peaches thinly sliced

In a medium saucepan, stir together water, sugar, and peaches. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let mixture simmer until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 20- 25 minutes. Strain peaches from syrup mixture and let cool completely before use. Store in the refrigerator and mix into iced tea or cocktails for a sweet peach flavor.
