A hand-crafted traditional Japanese cast iron tea pot with removable strainer: Holds 1,200 ml
A Tetsubin is an infamous kind of Japanese cast iron tea pot, which can be directly heated over charcoal and was specifically designed for use in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Since its first recorded appearance in the 17th century, its popularity as a daily teapot has grown all around the world.
Our hand-cast and hand-finished tetsubin was carefully manufactured by the Nanbu Iron Studio Roji, whose designs are known for balancing traditional techniques with contemporary creativity. It is lined with a delicate porcelain enamel to prevent rusting and comes with a removable strainer for easy use.
