What if the best matcha latte is, in fact, a bar of chocolate? Our matcha-infused organic white chocolate is a luscious blend of fresh cream and the exquisite fruity yet grassy notes of Japanese Shinto Matcha N°320. Crafted with master chocolatier Kevin Kugel, this vibrant green delicacy uses the legendary, pure chocolate from Original Beans. They meticulously blend cacao butter from organic cacao gardens in the Yuna River Valley, Dominican Republic, with classic Swiss Alpine milk to create an additive-free yet addictively delicious white chocolate. Then, master chocolatier Kevin artfully infuses it with our premium matcha, taking this treat to a whole new level.Experience the perfect fusion of matcha and white chocolate in every bite.May contain traces of peanuts and almonds

Background Knowledge

Creating the world's best tea chocolate required not only the best tea, but also the best chocolate. This search led us to Original Beans, a renowned chocolate manufacturer that takes great care to bring out the unique flavor of the cocoa bean in its couvertures. Original Beans stands for sustainability, fair trade and regenerative agriculture.

The next challenge was to subtly integrate the tea flavor into the chocolate without disturbing the delicate aroma balance. In our studio, we came up with the idea of using the fat of the chocolate itself as a flavor carrier - thus cocoa butter tea was born. In master chocolatier Kevin Kugel, we found a partner who did a fantastic job of implementing this through careful experimentation with the various teas. The result is a delicate, quietly sophisticated line of chocolates. And a friendship with our partners, Original Beans and Master Chocolatier Kevin Kugel.

HOW TO COMBINE
TEA WITH
CHOCOLATE?
How do you subtly integrate tea into chocolate without disturbing the delicate balance of flavours? In our studio, we came up with the idea of using the fat in the chocolate itself as a flavour carrier - and so cocoa butter tea was born. In master chocolatier Kevin Kugel, we found a partner who implemented this fantastically by carefully experimenting with the different types of tea.
