Background Knowledge

Jérémy Bellina had a clear vision for this project: he wanted to create pieces that capture the essence of the sea and volcanic islands. He personally worked on each piece with a variety of stones and shells before carefully brushing them with dried wheat to intentionally create irregular patterns. This craftsmanship gives the pieces a unique texture that can be felt with one's own fingers. To finish, the works received a high-quality glaze called Odyssée White, known for its thick and heavy texture.
