The My Dear Club is Paper & Tea's loyalty program and our way of showing our appreciation. We give you virtual tea leaves (bonus points) for several activities in our online shop such as product reviews or purchases made. You can use the tea leaves to earn discounts on purchases as well as some free accessories. The more tea leaves you earn, the more you save up. Plus you will receive exclusive benefits when you reach a higher membership status. You can get more information about the program further up this page.
In order to become a member of our My Dear Club, you need to create an account. As a welcome present, you will receive your first 25 tea leaves. Your future purchases with us will be rewarded. Just make sure that you are logged in while purchasing.
The membership in our My Dear Club is completely free of charge. You can unsubscribe from My Dear Club at any time. Just contact our Customer Care in that case.
We credit your activities in our online shop with tea leaves. Activities such as making purchases, writing product reviews, subscribing to our newsletter and following us on Instagram. Furthermore, we will give you 50 tea leaves as a birthday present.
You can see the number of tea leaves you have collected either in the menu or on the club page. Make sure you are logged in to see it.
Your tea leaves will be credited to your account 30 days after your purchase. This period is due to your 30-day return policy.
Your membership level is determined by your purchases over the last 12 months. If the sum of your purchases is above a certain value, you will be automatically granted the corresponding membership status. You can view the benefits and thresholds on your Club page.
With your first purchase, you immediately start at our entry level "First Flush". With a purchase starting from 100 euros or more, you advance to the next level "Silver Needle''. With a purchase worth of at least 250 euros or more the world of "Golden Tip" opens up to you.
Once you have collected 50 tea leaves, you can convert them into a discount and use them for a discounted purchase in our online shop. Make sure that your purchase value is aligned to the required minimum order value. Not valid in combination with any other discount codes or coupons.
Your tea leaves are valid for 12 months. Each new order extends the validity. After this period of time, your tea leaves will expire.
If you no longer wish to collect tea leaves, please contact us. Our Customer Care will make sure to convert credits into a voucher. So your efforts will not be in vain and you still receive your remaining tea leaves.
Tea should be stored in a cool place away from light and drunk before the expiration date. For storage, we recommend our tea tins, which can be refilled in an environmentally friendly way. You can find an overview of our packaging formats here.
Since we buy, blend and pack the tea ourselves, we only sell our own teas. In this way we can guarantee the highest quality standards.
We calculate the number of cups - that you find on the product page - for a cup size of 250ml. We also take the number of possible infusions, as well as the use of 4g/250ml (recommended) into consideration for the calculation.
In general, the caffeine content of a tea cannot be measured exactly, since the release of caffeine depends on numerous factors (e.g. the preparation). Our service team will be happy to advise you.
In general, herbals do not contain caffeine. You can find our selection of herbal teas here.
The actual best-before date is printed on the packaging of each product and varies between teas. Our teas are usually good to enjoy even past their best-before dates. If you have further questions, please contact our customer service team.
As we are not a company with a medical background, we do not wish to make any statements about the health benefits of our teas and hope for your understanding.
The majority of our teas come from organically certified cultivation. The varieties without a certificate are mostly sourced from small tea farms that produce their teas in the traditional way and usually cannot afford certification. We are anxious to support these tea farmers.
Our tea bags are made of cotton and are therefore compostable. Only the small label on the tea bag thread should be removed beforehand.
In general, we do not have any individual components of our products in stock, but will be happy to support you if required. Please contact our service team in these cases.
Almost all our accessories can be safely washed in the dishwasher. We do not recommend this for special ceramics such as open-pore materials. You will find a cleaning recommendation on all our product pages.
