A stoneware bowl for tea and matcha with abstract pattern, holds 250 ml
Finding beauty in imperfection is the cornerstone of the Japanese aesthetic world view of wabi sabi – an aesthetic that also provided the inspiration for our Shirokuro Bowl. Adorned by a series of abstract black patterns, this bowl's unique design is somewhat reminiscent of the drip painting style of Jackson Pollock, deriving its name from the Japanese shiro, white, and kuro, black. No less evocative than its pictorial counterpart, the bowl offers a beautiful and inspiring way to enjoy any fine tea.
Each piece is made by hand and thus gets its unique appearance, so the delivered product may differ from the photo.
