P&T introduces the sustainable practices and social responsibility of Jun Chiyabari Farm in Nepal — a key partnership producing high-quality, organic-certified teas. This collaboration underlines P&T's commitment to exceptional tea cultivation and a respectful approach to both people and nature.

Jun Chiyabari, a tea farm in Dhankuta, Nepal, embodies a modern approach to tea growing and production. Since its founding in 2000, the farm has been guided by a deep respect for nature and the people who work within it. This ethos has earned Jun Chiyabari a reputation as a producer of extraordinary teas, demonstrating that sustainable practices and the highest tea quality can go hand in hand.

Tea Growing in the Himalayas: Meet Jun Chiyabari

Still relatively unknown as a tea-producing country, Nepal has been putting itself on the map thanks to Jun Chiyabari Farm. The farm is renowned for its exclusive organic teas, with leaves harvested high in the Himalayas. Its name — meaning "tea garden in the moonlight" — reflects the farm's philosophy of specialising in innovative approaches to tea cultivation.

Exceptional Organic Teas from the Himalayas

Certified organic since 2012, the farm produces teas celebrated for their purity and breadth of flavour. From white and green to black tea, the varieties harvested here showcase the diversity and outstanding quality that come from years of experience and dedication.

In Harmony with Nature

Grown at altitudes of between 1,650 and 2,200 metres, the teas benefit from a climate similar to that of Darjeeling in India. Jun Chiyabari keeps human intervention to a minimum during harvesting and processing, preserving the natural character of the tea leaves and reflecting the purity of their surroundings.

A Commitment to Social Responsibility

The farm provides fair working conditions for over 200 people, supports the local community through social initiatives, and actively promotes financial independence through microloans and grants.

Exceptional Quality You Can Taste

Jun Chiyabari stands for sustainable and respectful tea cultivation, careful processing of the tea leaves, and a genuine commitment to the communities it works with. Its exclusive, organic-certified teas carry the flavours of the Himalayas all the way to your cup — among them Palace of Patan, an exquisite green tea speciality.
