Before joining PAPER & TEA in the summer of 2024, I travelled extensively and gained work experience in many of the countries I visited – including Australia, Portugal, Spain, and Italy. Change has always felt almost natural to me, which probably explains my career path. Around 15 years ago, my curiosity about digital ecosystems, constant change, and new technologies led me into the world of search engine optimisation. Since then, I’ve specialised in (AI) SEO, always at the intersection of content, users, and systems.
Tea, however, wasn’t part of my daily routine for a long time. It was only at PAPER & TEA that I realised enjoyment doesn’t always have to be habitual – sometimes it just requires openness. Fruit teas, chai, and matcha won me over, as did the design of the accessories, which feel almost like small interior objects and show how aesthetics and everyday life can beautifully intersect.
After work, I usually stay active – playing volleyball, surfing at the Wellenwerk, snowboarding, skiing, or tennis – anything that keeps me moving. In recent years, I’ve also been exploring my creative side, whether puzzling, drawing, or playing the guitar. This mix of structure and play, analysis and experimentation, flows into my work and my writing, making both equally exciting – just like everything I enjoy trying for the first time.
